Harry Edward Styles is an English singer, songwriter and a musician. He was a member of One Direction. He was born at Holmes Chapel (Cheshire), England the 1st of February 1994, he's the son of Des Styles, and Anne Cox. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School, which is where together with three students, he formed his musical group, White Eskimo. In 2009, they took part in the Battle of Bands where thanks to their outstanding performances, they took home the trophy. Though he's been interested in music, despite his passion, he was contemplating becoming a lawyer or an physiotherapist. To support the family, he spent an hour or so working at a local bakery. As of the year 2010, Harry Styles presented audition for The X Factor where he sang Is not She Lovely by Stevie Wonder and was selected. That's the reason his band was split. After the audition in The X Factor the jury Nicole Scherzinger suggested that Harry Styles be part of the band to be named One Direction along with Liam Payne Zayn Malik Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson. The group's creation became a reality in the year 2010. The five youngsters were sponsored by Simon Cowell. The group performed Kelly Clarkson's My Life Would Be Sucky without You and Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart throughout the competition. It helped them to become one of the frontrunners. The group was in third place behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles' group didn't be victorious, but Cowell nevertheless paid 2 millions of pounds One Direction for them to make a deal with Syco.
