Angela Sun was born in Santa Clara County, California on 19 October 1979. She is an American journalist, sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and TV presenter. She earned her degree from the University of California with a master's degree in communication and sociology. Sun's surfing skills were outstanding and she was a part of a number of pro-am events. Later, she became an as a film and sports reporter, in addition to an investigative journalist. Sun has worked as an anchor on newscasts for a variety of channels. She was a reporter in 2003 as an anchor with Fox Sports Net. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun hosts The Yahoo Sports Minute for the 2014 season. She is the first Asian-American presenter to air on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports and Tennis Channel. Sun is an established actress that has appeared in numerous movies. She was a part of films like Goliath (2016) as well as hit the Floor(2014-2016) An Ideal Getaway(2009) Shackled (2005), Street Kings (2008), and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). Sun released Platic Paradise : The Great Pacific Garbage Patch which is a documentary that she produced and composed herself.
