Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson (born April 14 in 1970) is an American actress, singer, writer and director. She is best known for her role as Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and has also directed produced and performed in her own movies Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. Also, she was a part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson is born to a psychiatrist and an artist named Diane Benson, was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8 in 1977. Her younger sister is Danielle and works as an artist. The father of her is Jewish while her mother born and raised in the state of Alabama. Southern Baptist Benson grew up at an Reform synagogue located in Alabama. Benson is a performer in numerous movies and TV series in the years since Buffy was over, most notably The Killing Jar. Behind the camera she put her writing skills to work on The Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like 2010's Drones. Buffy states that, after taking the time to count them and identify the Slayers, she discovered at least 1800 Slayers around the globe, including 500 who are connected with The Scooby Gang. Slayers are now able to be revived once they attain the right maturation. Soledad, for example was awakened when she turned sixteen.
