Julie Ellen "Tawny," Kitaen was an American model and actress. She was born between May 7th, 2021 and August 5, 1961. She started her career as a television actress, appearing in the television films Malibu (1983) as well as California Girls (1985). She was also in comedies The Perils of Gwendoline and Bachelor Party (both 1984) and the film of horror Witchboard (1986). Kitaen garnered widespread recognition for her performances in a variety of rock music videos of heavy metal, such as Ratt's "Back for More" (1984) and Whitesnake's "Still of the Night", "Is This Love" and "Here I Go Again" (all 1987).In the 2000s, Kitaen transitioned into appearing on reality television series which included The Surreal Life (2006) and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) The one that focused on Kitaen's struggles with addiction. She was born Julie Kitaen in San Diego, California in 1961, the eldest of three children born to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor) an housewife and one-time beauty pageant contestant, and Terry Kitaen, an employee of a neon signage company. Kitaen's mother was from Irish as well as Scottish descent was married to Terry Kitaen (an employee of a neon sign manufacturer). Her father was Russian-Jewish. Kitaen was born Jewish. In the year of 12, she began to make use of the name "Tawny" She created on her own initiative. She had dyslexia issues when she was a kid and was subsequently kicked out of Mission Bay High School.
